As some know, not only do we here at Dilly Dally love creating beautiful wedding invitations, but our owner, Andi, also decorates weddings at a local wedding venue The Lake House at Camellia Palms. So we thought we would take the opportunity this week to share how she took this December bride's dreams of a perfectly decorated wedding day and made it a reality.
Due to Covid, Allison had to plan her wedding ceremony in a very short time span (1 month to be exact). Due to this we were limited to creating a stunning wedding out of decor and florals the venue already had. After examining the options, Allison went with an elegant affair with a splash of rustic.
To accomplish this style we created the perfect elegant arch made from classic red and white roses and draped fabric. The aisle and bottom of the arch was adorned with gold vases filled with burgundy, red and white flowers. With a back drop of Lake Jackson, guests could definitely feel the elegance Allison had hoped to achieve.
We decided to add more rustic decor at the reception. Centerpieces ranged from simple black lanterns, small gold candles holders and magnolia leaf greenery to wooden vases filled with matching florals. Tin elements were also added to the cake table and drink station to add a few more small rustic staples.
Our favorite part about decorating this wedding was the subtle breeze that rolled off Lake Jackson during the wedding ceremony that gave movement and elegance to the draped fabric surrounding the golden circular arch.
All in all, yes you can plan a wedding in as little as a month as long as you have an amazing team behind you and we we're so happy that Allison trusted us to make her day a success.
